줄거리
미니애폴리스에서 공항 셔틀 운전사로 일하는 소말리아계 미국인 하산은 생계를 꾸려나가기 위해 고군분투하고 있다. 공항에 발이 묶인 20대 청년 로이드가 하산에게 돈을 주고 시카고까지 육로로 데려다 달라고 제안하자, 하산은 그 위험을 감수할 만한 가치가 있다고 생각한다. 하지만 승객이 겉모습과 다르다는 사실을 점점 깨닫게 되면서, 하산은 도저히 벗어날 수 없는 끔찍한 여정에 갇히게 되고, 자신을 구하려다 수많은 다른 사람들을 위험에 빠뜨릴 수도 있다는 사실을 알게 된다.
